At the beginning of the year, Lamborghini and the Lego Company revealed a tie-up and presented a mysterious teaser picture of a 1:8 package to come. At that point, the do-it-yourself brick car previewed in the image was the Sián FKP 37 which gave us the impression. It would seem that we were right as a new teaser video released last week shows the wheel design of the new Lego set that matches perfectly with the actual.
The short video shows the center-lock bronze / copper wheel switching from the actual car to its Lego Technic equivalent in a seamless transfer that further suggests we’re dealing with Lamborghini’s first electric vehicle converted into stone. It is expected to become the third Lego Technic Ultimate Series set after the Porsche 911 GT3 RS and Bugatti Chiron and will have thousands of pieces, the former having 2,704 parts, the latter being even more complicated at 3,599.
Specifics of how much it costs are shrouded in mystery, but we’ll remind you that when it came out the Porsche was wearing a $299 (INR 22,577) sticker while the Bugatti was slightly more costly, at $349 (INR 26,352). As for the actual Sián FKP 37 limited to 63 copies, the electrified Lamborghini debuted with a sold-out status at last year’s Frankfurt Motor Show amid an eye-watering price tag of $3.6 Million ( INR 27,32,72,400)
Here’s the Lamborghini Sian FKP 37 teaser that was posted on Facebook by the Lamborghini.
